[Customer] How-to: Cancel & Delete Account

Intro

Lawn Love provides a hassle-free process for canceling services or deleting your account. If you no longer require our services and wish to discontinue your account, you can easily cancel your account through the app or website. Additionally, if you would like to request the deletion of your account, we will remove your personally identifiable information (PII) from our system. 

Before You Begin

• Log in to your account through the App.

Cancel Account

• Log in to your account.
• Select the active Lawn Mowing service.
• Select Cancel at the bottom of the screen.
• Select the reason you are canceling.
• Choose one of our options to fix the issue if you would like. If not select Cancel My Service.
• Please consider filling out the short questionnaire to help us improve our services. 
• Select Confirm Cancellation.
• A confirmation screen will be displayed indicating that your account cancellation was successful.

Delete Account

• Log in to your App.
• Select Profile located at the bottom right of your dashboard.
• Select the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.
• Select Account Management under the Settings section.
• Select Delete my Data.
  • You will not be able to submit an account deletion request if:
    • You have a service scheduled within 48 hours.
    • You have a pending charge.
  • Your payment information will be deleted.
    • We will no longer be able to charge anything to your account.
    • We will be able to pull your billing history.
  • Submitting an account deletion request will prevent you from logging in to your account. 
• Check all the boxes to acknowledge your account deletion:
  • Deleting your data does not cancel your services.
    • Select Unsubscribe to cancel your account instead.
  • You have no active or pending services scheduled.
    • Please review your schedule to ensure that there are no upcoming services currently scheduled.
  • You have no unpaid balance or pending charges on your account.
• Select Confirm.
• Select Confirm again to finalize the account deletion request.
  • Note that once your account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated. But you do have the option to sign up for a new account if needed
